Q. What time would you like us to arrive?
A. The house will be available from 3pm on your arrival date.

Q. At what time should I have left the property on our last day?
A. It would be appreciated if the house could be vacated by 10am on your final day.

Q. May I smoke within the property?
A. Smoking is not permitted within the house.

Q. How do I pay?
A. A £50 deposit is payable within seven days of booking. Details of how to pay will be provided at the time of booking.

Q. What happens if I have to cancel my holiday?
A. Should you have to cancel at short notice we will make every effort to re-let your booking and reimburse you in full. We do strongly recommend that you insure yourself against this type of occurrence.

Q. Will my mobile phone work in the village?
A. Most mobile telephone networks are available in the village.

Q. Am I able to stay for less than a week?
A. Definitely. Whatever you would like to do, simply ask and we will try our best to accommodate.

Q. What are the transport links like on the island?
A. If you don’t have a car there is a good bus service between Tolsta Chaolais and the rest of the island. There is a timetable in the house. Many people cycle, taking advantage of Lewis’s flat moorland routes. There is no rail service on Lewis or Harris.

Taigh Bhé

Q. At what time should I aim to arrive at Taigh Bhé ?
A. The house will be available from 3pm on your arrival date.

Q. At what time should I have left the property on our last day?
A. It would be appreciated if the house could be vacated by 10am on your final day.

Q. May I smoke within the property?
A. Smoking is not permitted within the house however you may smoke outside. Please remember to remove any cigarette ends though.

Q. How do I pay?
A. A £50 deposit is payable within seven days of booking and full payment is expected within six weeks of the start of your stay. Details of how to pay will be provided at the time of booking.

Q. What happens if I have to cancel my holiday?
A. Should you have to cancel at short notice we will make every effort to re-let your booking and reimburse you in full. We do strongly recommend that you insure yourself against this type of occurrence.

Q. Will I receive a mobile phone signal in the village?
A.  Most mobile telephone networks are available in the village and there is free Wi-Fi which will enable any visitors with computers or smart phones to stay in touch with the rest of the world!

Q. Am I able to stay for less than a week?

Q. Are there any charges over and above the agreed rental price?
A. All heating and lighting are included in the price as are the use of towels and bed linen. The only extra charges you might incur would be to damaged property or any extra cleaning charges.
